Welcome to our information and scheduling website!
SEATTLE DANCE AND PERFORMING ARTS MEDICINE
For DancersWe welcome dancers of all genres and abilities to join us in our free monthly dance injury screening evaluations. We take a team-based approach in caring for the local dance community, and understand the complex needs of injured dancers. We will do our best to address all your needs in clinic, but can also assist with referrals, if necessary. You can join us by creating an account and signing up for an appointment using this link (or the link at the top right of the screen).
If we have not yet scheduled our next clinic (or if all our appointments are full), you can also sign in to join our e-mail listserv for announcements of when new appointments become available. We are working 'behind the scenes' continually to expand our ability to provide these appointments on a more regular basis (particularly for uninsured dancers), and we also invite you to check out our medical provider page for listings of local providers who have an interest or expertise in treating dancers.
For Medical ProfessionalsFor those of you interested in volunteering your services for our dance injury screening evaluations, we invite you to sign up for an account to indicate your interest or to create a medical provider profile to assist dancers in obtaining appropriate referrals for treatment.
We also hold regular "Journal Club" discussions throughout the year, and welcome all interested providers to attend these events. Feel free to sign in to join our mailing list for announcements regarding upcoming multidisciplinary Journal Club sessions.
Contact UsIf you have any questions, comments, or concerns, you may reach us at the e-mail address to the bottom right of the screen. Please note, this address is monitored by our volunteers on an intermittent basis, and we will do our best to get back to you in a timely fashion.
Given the infrequent nature of our dance injury screening evaluations, urgent clinical questions or concerns should be directed as appropriate to your local medical provider.
